Introduction
History is the study of past events and human societies. It is a broad field that encompasses the study of ancient civilizations, medieval societies, and modern nations. Historians use a variety of methods to study the past, including written records, archaeological evidence, and oral histories.
The CUET History is a domain-specific test that is used for admission to undergraduate programs in history. The test covers a wide range of topics, including:

The test is divided into two sections: Section I: History and Section II: Quantitative Aptitude. Section I covers the basic concepts of history, such as ancient history and medieval history. Unit II: Political and Economic History: How Inscriptions tell a story
Broad overview: Political and economic history from the Mauryan to the Gupta period.
Story of discovery: Inscriptions and the decipherment of the script. Shiftsin the understanding of political and economic history.

Unit III: Social Histories using the Mahabharata

Discussion: How the above sources can be used to reconstruct the history of towns. What these sources do not reveal.
Unit XIII: Mahatma Gandhi through Contemporary Eyes
